After Networking your Site Gateway: Site Gateway Install Guide , you will be able to discover and add IP cameras into the Samsara Dashboard. This article will take you through these steps.
Steps to Add Samsara IP Camera to the Dashboard
Navigate to the Workforce Dashboard > Cameras > Add a camera.
Select the correct Site Gateway. Please allow for 20 seconds for the Site Gateway discovery to scan the networks for the Samsara Camera.
For the Site Camera username and password, please reach out to your Account Executive or contact us at kb.samsara.com and Submit a Request at the top. Also learn how to contact Support via other channels here: Introducing Samsara for Connected Sites
Select Continue.
If successful; you will receive the message, These cameras are valid and will be created. Select Save.
You may also receive the message, These cameras' streams have already been added for this VMS, if you have already added the cameras to the Site Gateway.
If you receive These cameras were not authenticated and won't be created, this usually exists in the event the Username or Password is incorrect.
